Why eyelash extenion infills are needed?
After our eyelash treatment, our lashes grow out :
1. first week: lashes are growing out, at this stage it is unlikely you have lost enough for an infill.
2. two weeks: the perfect time for lashes to be infilled. some have started to grow out and some new lashes will be ready to be filled, any grow out lashes will be removed and replaced. usually around 50% of lashes will remain.
3.Three weeks: around this point about 40% of the lashes remain, although many will have grown out, it is still ok to get lashes infilled but a longer infill will be needed to fill new lashes and more lashes will be grown out so more will need removing and replacing.
4. four weeks: by this stage many lashes will be grown out far up the natural lashes, which will start to put a strain on the root of the lash and they can become a uncomfortable ,sore or itchy, some of the extension could potentially become to heavy for the natural lash and start to twist. this can cause damage to the hair follicle and become unconfortable to wear. at this stage, 20%-30% of the lashes will remain , meaning a full set is required.
